The idea of Frentko took root in October 2023, when two experienced professionals – Ashish Kumar and Kumar Sunny – began discussing the need for a structured, transparent, and design-driven approach to interior solutions.

Having worked with top firms and countless homeowners, we noticed a consistent gap in the industry: while design aspirations were growing, the execution process remained chaotic – with missed deadlines, scattered vendors, and unpredictable quality. That’s when we began thinking beyond traditional setups.

We brainstormed names, debated ideas, and finally narrowed it down to two options. On mutual agreement, we chose Frentko – a name inspired by a Spanish dictionary reference meaning “A face that looks beautiful or believable.” It also subtly reflects our vision of building a furniture-tech company – one that blends beauty, technology, and trust.

After months of planning, Frentko was officially registered on January 27th, 2025.

Before founding Frentko:

Ashish Kumar was running his own architectural and interior design firm, Space Soul, and was also associated with Livspace under the Livpreneur Design Partner Program.

Kumar Sunny brought deep industry experience from working with major firms like Colliers, Hloov, Flipspaces, Live4est, Amazon, and more.

Together, we combined our field experience, design expertise, and industry insights to create Frentko – a brand that offers factory-made, personalized modular interiors with 100% transparency, 11 years of warranty, and design-first thinking.
